eResource Usage is on the increase! May 2021

Many of us have caught up on all the available Netflix series and catch-up tv services over lockdown!

There has been an increased demand for online resources and students are reading more eBooks than ever before. We have shared statistics for May 2020 and May 2021 below for our eResource usage. The time spent reading online resources doubled from 153hrs to over 303hrs.

We are really proud of our LRC teams who have supported students and staff to engage with these resources in a very difficult and unsettled year. We hope to see even higher usage in 2022!

The profile of eBooks and podcasts has grown significantly since Lockdown. The demand for stimulating online learning content grows every day so now we need to figure out new opportunities to keep the content rolling...
